When is the best time to begin a fitness program?

Today!

For those of us over 40, the fitness of our bodies cannot be taken for granted, nor ignored. Fitness over forty is not only possible, it is imperative!
Easy words to say, and we’ve all heard them, and most likely, said them to ourselves, over and over again. We say them to ourselves so often, in fact, that they become meaningless cliches, and don’t fire us up anymore.
You are busy. You don’t have any spare time. Working full-time, or taking care of a family, or both, you seem to get up in the morning and the next thing you know, it’s 9:00 at night, and you’re exhausted. When would you possibly fit in any kind of exercise? And how dare anyone suggest that you need to. You know that one of these days you’re going to get started with a walking plan, a jogging plan, a workout plan, a more healthy eating plan. You know that you are going to do this, because you already know that you need to.
There just isn’t any time right now.
I hope to show you here that you can start now. Right now. I’ve been there, and found a way that works for me. Oh, I’m not perfect with it, and I’ll never run in a marathon, but, then, I don’t want to run in a marathon. I just want to be as healthy as I can be, and “build a better body” little by little.
Any kind of start counts. Any step you take, no matter how small, counts toward improving your energy level, your immunity system, and can add length to your life.
Begin here with me. We are real people, and we are over 40 years of age. Some of us are quite a bit over 40, but the one thing we have in common is that we have a profound belief in the benefits of exercise and good nutrition. We know that to properly enjoy life to the fullest, our own good health and strong body is essential. And we are ready to START NOW, down that road to being strong and fit and vibrantly ALIVE!
Life is precious and priceless. Let us make the most of it, and not delay taking that first small step. That first small step can take many forms, and we will explore them all.
So, here we are at the start line. Ready, Set, and Go!
